Episode #112: Bracket Of Badassery – Dutch vs Mad Max

The Bracket of Badassery continues in Round 2 as the most badass characters in the history of movies are put to the test to find out:  who is the most badass character in all of action films?  Last week, Gordy joined us on the podcast to settle the dispute of who is more badass between Cpl. Furiosa!  Dwayne Hicks is certainly a badass and one of our favorite characters from movies, but Furiosa is more of a badass.  It’s tough watching some of our most beloved action heroes  (John McClane and Dwayne Hicks especially) be defeated but, hey, this is science and we’re trying to figure out who is the most badass.

This week, we bring another guest into the Brick Room to help us settle this week’s match up.  Our friend, Greg Rojcewicz, joins us to figure out who is more badass between Dutch, from Predator, and Max, from Mad Max: Fury Road.  This is a tough contest and we actually go back and forth several times in this episode before we finally figure it out.  Grab your drink, listen, make comments, tell your friends about the Brick Room.  Let the battle begin!

The original Mad Max doesn’t end with Max handcuffing Toecutter to a car. Johnny the Boy gets put in the Saw-esque “your hand or your life” situation. Toecutter (Hugh Keays-Byrne) crashes into an oncoming semi truck while riding away on his bike. Immortan Joe and Toecutter are not the same character.
